Well, since Atomic posted his way of shading I thought I'd share mine... Since I don't really often do this my most recent example would be the image from the 6th of June 2011 , which I also happened to grab off eBay. :) Anyway, I used a combination of AviSynth, the NNEDI3 plugin for AviSynth, Virtu...

But, the ink layer thing is soo not working for me. It keeps selecting the whole image and not the line work. I'm going to play around with it. I'm running GIMP 2.6 and that may be why it isn't acting right. Actually, turing a grayscale image into an ink layer is even faster and easier done by simp...

How does Nudge get those horns through those narrow doorways? How does she type with those boxing gloves on her hands? My normal answer might be "She tricks the keyboard into typing on itself." This time, however, I must say "What boxing gloves?" Information required to fully ap...

Re: Missing out on the MIX
I'd hazard a guess what is meant is Minneapolis Indie Xpo , which Paul attended both times and which states on it's web site: MIX was enjoyed by attendees and exhibitors for two years, in 2010 and 2011. Event organizers planned a hiatus for 2012 and in that time decided to discontinue the event, for...

I have my own webcomic, Pink Parts [NSFW], which is not dead but in sore need of more frequent updates. Basically, it got sacrificed to derby, along with some other things. Re: Anyone else save strips?
New strips usually go up (when they're on time, i.e. mostly on Mondays
) when I get up, so... no.
I do save them to my hard drive, though - being able to go through thumbnails locally to find a strip is really useful, and that way I don't have to break out the books...

I'm not really sure anymore how I found Wapsi Square since it's been so long - must've been a banner or a link off another site. As for when: I took a closer look at my bookmark (which I automatically click each day without giving it a closer look) just now, and it says "Wapsi Square by Paul T...
