So very true, Visual effects can achieve so much these days, but they can be oh so expensive as well.

That's about eight inches too tall.

Or just choose other actors in the 6'2" range to make up for the difference.

And, as much as possible, use the same visual tricks Disney used for most of the scenes Under the Mountain in Darby O'Gill - put some of the actors much nearer the camera; the reverse of a foreground miniature shot.

They'd spend so much on visual effects in this movie, what with Tepoz and Phix and Shelly and the Golem Girls, that I don't think they'd have enough $ left to do height tricks.

Personally, I think it'd be better as an animated cartoon.

Nah, let the animation crew at Disney who worked on Wreck-It Ralph make it themselves. A LOT of people believe it only lost to Brave at the Oscars because of the Pixar reputation.

Absolutely.

Ralph should have been the Pixar film, and vice-versa.

On the one hand, Wreck It Ralph was awesome while Brave was very good, so I agree that the Disney team would (potentially) do a fantastic job with it.

On the other hand...this...

Come on, imagine the possibilities. If Disney did Wapsi they would probably have people in Monica and Golem Girl costumes in Disneyworld you could take your picture with. :D

Yup. Dipped in sweet syrup and rolled in cutesie-powder they would be, most likely.

Disney would probably do up Euryale as Ariel :(
