That comes from this comic, and was before Monica restored the Bud and Brandi's memories. Bud has said she really doesn't like who she was all that much during that time once she remembered who she was before the Chimera.

Well, yeah, i know which comic it comes from, having spent some time snipping it out and cleaning uo the background.

It was just a comment on the way they look in that panel, taken out of context.-
