I have to say I hope she doesn't use that escape from work route often because a sidewalk or alley that develops impact craters on the regular is going to attract "attention".

Even without that, needlessly destroying sidewalks will attract unwanted attention.

Similar to trying to understand why that one public toilet in the Harry Potter series had several hundred people go in each morning as a crowd, then come out late in the day by the hundreds as well. Nothing obvious, of course....
