On a personal note, I admit I never thought Bud's last name would be pronounced like that... I'm not sure how I would have pronounced it, but not like that...

Ooops indeed. I saw that tower explosion somewhere before, but I can't place it. Then again I might just be having another Mandela effect episode...

That's the way i've always pronounced it in my head.

Which makes me 1-for-2 on Wapsi audio-guessing: I "heard" {and still do} Eve Arden* as Phix's voice, in spite of some mere creator saying Alex Kingston...

I believe she was . . . I think she was introduced as a lieutenant, then promoted twice, but IIRC she hadn't been promoted to captain yet, and the info on the Honorverse wiki seems to agree.

Interesting: apparently she skipped the rank of captain.

I need to find one of my copies of Ashes of Victory and read that again.

If you thought that Cass was in trouble BEFORE the Anchor Tower blew up, oh boy. No amount of snark/sass, from either Scarlet or Daylla, is going to help out now. There is no protecting Cass now; she is going to, proverbially speaking, get hit, and hit hard. This could even cost Katherine her job; remember she is some Regional Director of MIB, and her daughter just put the lives of everyone at that school, in jeopardy. Monica might even have to be called in, being the Jaguar Girl and all. This is all going to come crashing down on a scared teenage girl, who had no idea what she was about to unleash. Poor Cass.

Damn straight, she's a WMD with a hair trigger. Even worse, but not by much. There was a Tiny Toons or Amimaniacs about a teen girl going nuclear when she got mad... Katie KaBoom, from Animaniacs

All I can say about that video is, that I'm glad my kids were just the right age to watch Animaniacs when they first came out... Otherwise, I might not have known about such a great TV show.
