Oh, someone's not gonna be happy about that.

It's an old cliff dwelling. The round item looks like a worship chamber from the cliff dwellers, I think it's called a Kevina, in that area. This might be an old Lantan place as well The ceiling fixture is definitely not from the cliff sweller period. Looks like a hidden base from long ago. A secret hide out for the immortal politicians maybe???.
Ambush questions are fun. Watching the mental impact of them as they distort, or crumble, opinions based on faulty logic.

Actually I was going to say that they looked "occupied", like modern apartments only not.

You open your eyes to a dark chamber with a hole in the roof after falling from a great height. Roll for damage from the fall. Use healing potions if required. Current class of adventures is Sage, Level 4, and Bard, level 1.

Bia's Headband has it, and it appears as part of some of the Bibliothiki's smaller window designs here.

Either It's Bia's personal symbol, or, more likely, a symbol shared by a larger supernatural group as a whole. Probably those with library access.

So... it's the old "mine cart rides are all fun and games until the none-supe human gets turned into a red stain on the wall/floor by the impact at the end" again?

Well this was just unfair gameplay. They made their way through the mine cart level fair and square but then cheat to get through the underground complex.
