Quite possibly delicious things...I'm still trying to find that Ghost Pepper Beer so I can add a shot of chocolate liqueur and have "Hot Chocolate". I was quite out of my mid the other day and chilled to the bone, and made a hot chocolate...and put Freebirds Death Sauce(Thank God for awesome Texas friends) in it. I drank it rather fast...then the sloooooow burn hit me. Can you imagine a nice alcoholic burn like that? I REALLY want to now. I have had some incredible home-made wines and other alcohols.Jabberwonky wrote:Dark things...ShirouZhiwu wrote:I've discovered Fireball Whiskey. A nice mixture of Booze and spice, but it leaves a sticky substance in my glass and is only 66 proof. It leaves me wondering if I've been scammed by sugar and cheap. I'm wondering what I could do with cayenne and a still.
That Fireball Whiskey is vile(my 2cp). My friends father had that at a Christmas gathering, and the mere smell of it had me ranting(his son, who works at a winery, brought over several inexpensive port wines that were divine, and I was quite mellow until his dad started talking). He kept trying to tell me that was quality Whiskey(which if you have been reading here, you all know I am a bit of a whiskey(really all alcohol) snob, and waving a glass for me to take. When he asked me if I was too good for it, I said, "You're damned right I am." which was kind of rude of me.
I suppose it might be nice, but I just could not get around the smell of it(I've been used to Bushmills and Jameson and Tullamore Dew for a couple of decades). I do drink an occasional Royal Salute, but most of the inexpensive American, or not Irish or Scottish Whiskeys I've had smell vile. One of my friends had bought me a bottle of Jack Black(I think it's officially called Jack Daniels Black Label or something like that), that is still sitting untouched because I cannot bring myself to be open for disappointment.
