Final panel: When you discover that the scarlet king snake you caught a few months ago and have been handling daily to tame it is actually a coral snake.

Eh - looks more like chromatic aberration to me; when everyone else has problems focussing after Cas dropped a bombshell of those proportions it's no wonder the camera has them, too...

Besides, it was never directly stated that the Blackthorn hated the fae, just that they were powerful and dangerous for the fae (as in, able to kill them). Castela hated the fae, but that turned out to be a (rather large) misunderstanding...

Ha! When I first saw that creature, I thought it looked a lot like Emrakul, from Magic: the Gathering.
For those who don't know, the Eldrazi are a very ancient race of being that came from the Blind Eternities, the chaotic "space" between the various planes (or universes) of the multiverse. I'm not entirely sure if there had been any errata or whatever, but when they were first introduced, they would consume the mana of a plane, which I think ultimately would cause it to collapse, but I'd have to check the wiki for it.

Yep, this is da Wapsi, where stuff called one thing here may not be the same as in 'the real world'.
