April is showing us another data point in a pattern that we've seen before... that paras seen to have an undeservedly-bad reputation among humans.
The oni seem to have been traditionally considered to be wicked or evil beings (up to and including being the demons which torture sinners in Hell).
April seems more like a giant-economy-sized batch of loving-comfort.
