Heh. Over at Misfile, we're having a discussion tied to this page (remember, Ash, the light-haired girl, is actually a boy transformed by a screwup* at the Celestial Filing Depot).

Will Eisner drew something very similar as a background gag on the cover of (what was then) a one-shot reprint volume of Spirit stories published by Denis Kitchen's Kitchen Sink Press in about 1974.
