Some people make spooky, eerie faces during the Halloween season. Shawna makes spooky, eye-ie faces instead.

Do you suppose that she keeps a spotlight stuffed down the front of her shirt all October, just for dramatic lighting during such moments?

It's amazing what the nerdy can do these days with wearable electronics... electroluminescent wire sewn into clothing, tiny LEDs stitched into seams, and so forth. Notice how she's holding her braids out to the sides? Betcha she's woven some wires into them to act as an antenna, and is scavenging power from the local AM radio station broadcasts to light up her blouse electronics... no battery needed.

Or, it could be that Pixies naturally attract clouds of obedient fireflies.
