What species of jumping spider was she prior to transformation? Is this behavior consistent with known habits of that species? Yes I can be both an UberGeek and twisted.

Aaah, what Digit saw (assuming that she did) was just the Barnabas Effect... a simple hangover from the temporal anomaly created by the ley lines.

It's an image of those two nerds Mindy and Barbara as they were running around the mansion the previous night. Mindy was carrying a light, young Barbara was standing nearby, and the resulting cone of shade ended up being cast forward in time by the ley lines.

So, it's just a rerun of dork shadows.
