SPOOKY GOINGS-ON

Well, creepy, anyway. It's 1920 EDT on Halloween, and there's a cop with his blues on blocking the intersection of Old Lakeview Rd, Lakeview Dr and Fairview Rd.
All the cops in the world have been running around our neighbourhood {seven in a row with their blues on, at one point} and we've been advised to remain indoors.
Whatever it is seems to be happening down the hill in or around Lakeview Academy, a private school down that way.
Maggie and Natalie are rather put out with whoever has stirred up all this trouble, because their parents mad them some really nice costumes ... and it looks as if they may not have a chance to go out and show them off.
Meanwhile, i'm thinking that the two bags of miniature Hershey and Heath bars i bought this afternoon, just in case we had any trick-or-treaters* are going to be completely safe from depredations tonight...
