Don't really see the diff...
So Bud's the scented-candle fiend. That shouldn't be surprising, considering the lamp memories she has from when she was a little girl.

We don't know what scents, though.
Pine, and bayberry, and citrus... that's one thing. It would be different (and perhaps tough on her relationship with Kevin) if she was enamoured of candles scented with overboiled brussels sprouts, wet Labrador retriever, or fire-in-the-sewage-sludge-composting-plant.
You never can tell about those Lanthians... crazy as bedbugs, some of them were.

Not these three. Jin likes a certain tea because it smells pine-y, like her home before it got glassed. And she was, at the time, the craziest of the bunch.
May might have some odd preferences, though.
