She actually has to continue at the school for a while, because she needs a certain number of hours before she can get her license, but they only have two graduations a year, so...



You wouldn't believe how much tweakery went into this one - shot at a distance of about six feet (she was three seats over from me in the row ahead of me), with flash. Red-eye was the least of it.

Next two shot with the ISO way higher than i like it, because i was too far away for flash (gotta get an external TTL flash...) These are about the middle third of the full shot (which is 4032 x 3024).





I wish i'd started shooting feet sooner - some that were even more spectacular than these got away. I saw shoes walking across that stage that looked like the only stage they belonged on was a porn sound stage...

Congratulations to your daughter (in a good family the step is only for medical reasons) and you and your wife for suporting her. I hope she enjoys her future career.

As for the shoes, It may be that some of the other students may be giving their stripping and porn careers an extra flair. (someone has to do makeup for the clubs, photo and video shoots)

I dunno...I dig those Victorian-style heels in the bottom left corner. And while I'd never wear them myself (I just don't have the moxie to pull off some of the more "fabulous" shoes), I kind of dig the snake-skin sling-backs with red heels.

The leopard wedges are just ridiculous though.

As someone who grew up with a cosmotologist mother, I say give them a few years. The new recruits are still fashioned obsessed but those heels will shrink after enough long days working on their feet.

I was thinking exactly that, actually.

That's another reason they belong on a porn set - your feet don't get tired.

Not a cosmetologist, but I still occasionally indulge in foot-torturing devices. When I'm feeling more able, I should go take a photo of some shoes I customized for myself - red patent leather and green glitter platform ankle booties with a spike heel.
