So, will Castela eventually note Hiroshi's attire and go into full bloom, or will she note Hiroshi's attire and Shawna's, assume that romantic shenanigans were underway between the two, and have a fit/breakdown?

And now we see some hints as to why Digit was chosen by the school administration to be in charge, rather than Valerie or somebody else with more seniority.

Hmmmm. Will the ghost-hunting club will ever go see the Jaguar Girl about her role as a link between the living and the "Land of the Dead" (whatever that may be)? Or visit Nudge and Tsillah's parents?

Yeah, it's probably a reflexive threat response, and there's not any immediate apparent threat to them. Now they're just very worried, not panicked. How well would they have been able to keep control of their appearances if this had all happened someplace out in the public human world, such as exploring a public building?

Well in public they would not have had to go from sleeping to wide awake red alert status. Talking from experience that triggers the flight or fight response in anyone. Its also can result in a 25 year old learning not to try slipping in the house at 2 in the morning and the wife yelling dont shoot its one of the kids.
