Okay so I know she's just joking around, but Daylla's line just seriously shot my shipping of the two of them through the roof.

I am indeed surprised to see Shawna responding so calmly, so to speak (inner panic notwithstanding)...

Castela does not seem to be looking forward to this, apparently... (Gee, I wonder why...)

Hiroshi is completely on board, and apparently totally oblivious to what this will mean for his two satellites...

Come morning, Castela will be nowhere to be found...

Inexplicably, the other sleepers will be surrounded by a whole hedge of rose bushes...

Methinks the lady Daylla has arranged this flotilla for a purpose. Not that she might hoist her sail, but rather that she might view the indelicate maneuvering of the novice midshipmen. She seems to take great pleasure in their chaotic floundering to avoid crashing apon both the shoals, and one another.

Which means that, in the Wapsiverse, she's the most logical one to be there.

Shawna has her priorities. "We're going to perhaps be confronting a ghost! This could be an experience that could plunge us into the depths of terror and change the course of our lives! I'LL BE SLEEPING NEXT TO HIROSHI!!"

It's interesting to note, Hiroshi seems pretty competent when doesn't have that deer in the headlights, "oh no, girls are after my bod I'm going to be turned back into a butterfly!" look.

Shelly might be a better chaperone than Monica. It might take 80,000 years of wisdom to deal with this bunch.

Daylla would probably decided it's a good idea to braid Phix's hair/mane into dreadlocks while Phix is dozing... and then dip the braids in an inkwell.
