Nothing better than a BFF who's got your back.

"With friends like that, who needs enemies?"

This all but confirms my suspicion that Daylla is a forumite in disguise.

It is good when you have friends who know you so well. Although I doubt they could have envisioned anything THIS spectacularly stupid.
I think it's safe to assume Castela is going to miss homeroom. I wonder what she's going to do next. The smart thing might be to head to the Library and talk to Atasli's Mom, V. II,, as that will enable her to get parental advice without the emotional consequences and difficulties of going to Kath.
Since it's the smart thing, she'll probably do the opposite. Whatever that is.

A forumite who uses the screen name "Johnson Smith". Fond of whoopee cushions, itching powder, chewing gum that turns the victims's teeth black, and other fine and embarrassing practical jokes.
Daylla has managed to invent the emotional equivalent of a can labeled "peanut brittle", which when opened is actually found to contain a 6' spring-loaded phony snake.
We can only hope that the snake isn't venomous and rabid.

You just
love tempting fate, don't you?
Next thing you know, you'll be asking what's the worst that can happen...

Snakes can't get rabies, because they aren't mammals.
Also, the page title makes me think of Nine Inch Nails "Head Like a Hole" for some reason...

Honestly, I'm feeling a bit of foreboding with the level of stress we see our little atomic warhead operating under.
That much destructive power should not be freaking out that deeply.
