I may have had a book-gasm when I saw this. And then a minute later I noticed Phix...

Because of the specific image of Phix used, it looks like she's about to pounce on the books!

She's looking for a couple of people who have overdue books...

You wanted to induce book-gasms?

With all due respect, <no title> is considerably misleading, regarding the content of the original post. There appear to be several thousand titles available.

It now occurs to me: That may have been the point. Carry on, then. I'll be browsing the stacks - er, stack.

I called it <no title> specifically because i wanted people who looked at it to ponder why it was posted...

If i'd been willing to spend a little time hunting for a really good shot, i might have also included an orangutan hanging from one of the railings, looking at the books.

I may still.

I just have to ask where this image is from?

My initial reaction to see <no title>, was to distrust it... until I saw who posted it.

Then I was merely curious as to what it would contain.

I probably should've added ;) to the end of my statement; as it is, it seems more serious than I meant it to sound.

Be careful, Fairportfan. Inspiring bookgasms could lead to people suffering from some nasty paper cuts and make them quite angry with you.

I have no idea - someone posted it in the "Random Photo Thread" over at the Misfile forums.

A book-gasm or a nerdgasm?

Definitely a book-gasm. :) While my status as a bibliophile does make me a bit more of a nerd, it wasn't my inner nerd that got twitterpated by that picture...it was the part of me that gets weak in the knees at the smell of books and has dreams of one day having a personal library to match the one Beast had in the Disney film (and that has to be kept away from all forms of currency when in a bookstore).
