All okay
And here I’d been wondering if maybe Castela was spending too much time around Digit . . .
She might also be such a pest that Atsali will be glad to get away . . .
I wonder what Katherine would have done if she'd found the spider in the coffee canister?

I suspect Kath would whip out a hand glass and start trying to identify it

This does beg the question: what's the real cause (or causes) of Atsali's anxiety?
"Going away to college" is about as close to a formal rite of passage to adulthood as we have in American society. Plenty to be anxious about, for most... "flying without a net" for the first time. Gotta be even more so for a Para with a controversial heritage... and the possibility that maybe some of the people who croaked her parents might still be Out There and keeping an eye on her?

Well, Atsali is used to flying without a net...
... catch is, soon she'll be doing so figuratively as well as literally.

It might be better for Castela to ask her sister this, rather than attempting to prank her into a different mood. It's possible she tried that and Atsali is refusing to talk about it. So she's going to irritate her until she gets angry enough to burn through her fear and say what the problem is.

Cricket's aunt 'took care' of the heads of the shadow government. Literally. But the actual killers might still be alive and around.
