Amazing what fantastic tales one can tell with the ultimate poker face.

Yeah. The question in my mind is, just exactly how long would she last in Vegas, before all of the casinos got wise and banned her for life?

Not playing poker, they wouldn't. If she could play well enough, she'd be an attraction.

Sassy Spidergal . . .
BTW, when pinning insects for display, you put them into the
killing jar first, so they're already dead when you pin them for your
insect collection.

Maybe Kath might give a brief overview of insect/arthropod collections.

"Spider-weenie, Spider-weenie,
When it comes to pranks she's such a meanie!
Look out, here comes the Spider-Weenie."
And that's all I've got.

At least she didn't keep the actual strength of a spider. It wouldn't be as fun of a storyline if she just lay there limply on the floor for a few minutes unable to even lift the weight of an arm, before dying due to her heart not having the strength to pump blood through a human-sized circulatory system.

Calista did better than she knew, when she created that talisman. Even when misapplied, it was smart enough to know that it would have to completely transform most of Digit's internal organs to a very different configuration.
I suppose that in some cases it had to improvise a lot. In others, such as Digit's lungs, it made the changes strictly
by the book.

well, it has to be mostly a new body, with her consciousness put inside... If they had followed the spider too much, she would be 'breathing' through her belly button...

What's with the look on Kath's face in the second panel? Is she worried Digit might hurt her, or something?

I'd say she's concerned that Digit
could hurt her badly if she wanted to, and
might want to in vengeance for Kath having killed quite a few spiders (who for all Kath knows, might have been spiders that Digit knew and had cared about personally).
Think of it this way: she's having a movie flashback. She thinks she's at the point in the movie where Digit is about to say "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
And, in the third frame, Kath isn't really off the hook yet. Digit has acknowledged that she isn't actually capable of breaking Kath in half and then crushing her bones into powder...
... but she hasn't said she's forgiven Kath for multiple arachnocide. There's still an emotional guilt between them... maybe.
Or, maybe not. Digit may feel that bringing the issue into the open, teasing Kath about it and giving her a bit of a scare in the process, was all that's necessary to clear the air between them. Mischief managed.

What with Digit's forced poker face it's very hard to tell.
