It appears that several months went by between yesterday's strip and today's...

It is possible, but then again, she still seems overwhelmed by the same things as in yesterday's comic, so who knows? (Besides Paul, that is...)
Maybe she got promoted partway through the school year, so that the job is still overwhelming, even though the semester is almost over.

I don't see any reason why this couldn't be the same day as the previous strip.
It even looks as though she's wearing the same outfit.

Also, I wonder how Ms. Phillips feels about half-orc half-elves (
Falk).
