This setup sorta reminds me of several conversations i had after i got married the first time. So many young ladies told me they were interested but i never noticed before.

As a fly by night Whovian I was stunned on running through my Feedly to find Monday's comic up, even more surprised to get OP . Last time I missed it by a mouseclick as I posted only for the page to refresh and show me a tardy second. I suppose a benefit of having too much time on my hands and living in the UK.

Aw, that's nice. And Tepoz shows he's got considerable psychological insight, and knows how to communicate. Goodo! I hope Connie can get her brain to reboot soon to keep up her side of the talking.

I kind of wish he'd put his wig back on, though, I'm not sure the bald look suits him.

As shown in the last panel, their size differential is a bit odd. On the other hand, Connie's never going to grow any bigger, and Tepoz won't get smaller, so it's not going to get any worse.

Romantic Love blinds the participants to the (often fatal) defects of the partner. It makes an otherwise happy condition into a living hell when the Romantic Love wears off.
And it is always a mistake to think he/she can reform. Especially in this case where both personalities are pretty much set in concrete by now.
Tepoz is right to treat Connie as a friend. She will get to know his quirks before they turn into points of contention.

Methinks Tepoz was made from a racoon or some such, so he may be size limited that way. Then again, this is the Wapsiverse, so you never quite know!

It was never explicitly stated in the comics just who or what Tepoz was before he became a golem. He knows that Mayahuel made him, and Jin told him that Mayahuel had practiced on weasels and rats. Whether or not Jin was just messing with him, or whether he was one of those weasels or rats or something else altogether different, was never clarified.

So, you're saying that Jin was just badgering him? She was keeping him in the dark, like a mushroom? That makes sense... her Chimera form was a snake.

I don't think it will bother Tepoz, though. He always struck me as a stoat fellow.

Actually, it is kinda implied, in canon, that Tepoz is a weasel.

To quote from the frontispiece of The Timekeeper's Daughter:

We're now in the middle of her plan to take back the calendar. She has gone to audition for the priests, leaving me with the result of her golem formula. I'm not sure why she chose a weasel... Maybe that will prove useful one day...
