Proof Positive the world is not flat: If it were, cats would have pushed everything off the edge by now.

Wow, she's like a completely different person by that last panel.

That is a big red flag.

I'd assume they expand on the ends when she's focusing in real-close like; that and/or they are taking in more data (like irises dilating...FreeFlier wrote:Hmmm . . . interesting.AnotherFairportfan wrote:Just noticed - look at her eyes in the final panel...

Awwwwwwww that was so sweet!
Re: Get Through 2017-02-02
and all that sweetness aside, which is, indeed, adorable ...
how did the little sweetie get through the bioshield ?
how did the little sweetie get through the bioshield ?
Re: Get Through 2017-02-02
If this is a scene out in the rock jumbles, near where she burned a pithy phase into a cliff... it's possible that the butterfly was already there when she arrived. No telling how thoroughly a "bioshield" sweeps the interior when it's first set up; it might just a barrier around the outside.Akasha wrote:how did the little sweetie get through the bioshield ?

Sounds like the bio-shield is there all the time, if only to keep people from stumbling into this area and seeing what various paras have been doing to a national monument.Dave wrote:If this is a scene out in the rock jumbles, near where she burned a pithy phase into a cliff... it's possible that the butterfly was already there when she arrived. I'm guessing that it's a particularly powerful para in disguise. Perhaps par to Pickle.Akasha wrote:and all that sweetness aside, which is, indeed, adorable ... how did the little sweetie get through the bioshield ?

Brave butterfly. I wonder if it's a male?
Re: Get Through 2017-02-02
I was wondering if Pickle's eye buds are what she morphs to present normal eyes and if they are slowly assuming a normal eye shape.
Then again, it would make sense if she expanded the surface and/or flattened the "retina" to focus on small nearby objects.

(pretty soon were going to need to produce a 'How Stuff in the Wapsiverse Works' type bible, like the book they cobbled together for Star Trek...)
