I'm seeing much more maturity from Castel than Atsali on this one. I kinda like this dynamic.

Yea with 3 sisters, two ex wifes and the current one of eighteen years i can categorically say engaging a female, even metaphorically, will often not end well. Taking Pickle on makes me think of the old bugs bunny cartoon.

As i said in the post in the wrong place, there is, in this comic, one male character i can think of who might fit that description, Pickle.

But he's WAY too old for you.

Well, there's always Darin. He seems to be good at the metaphorical wallops to the noggin. She's younger than him, but she's also older than him, so maybe it averages out right. And if it doesn't, then she could always stumble across another Darin who is remarkably similar to the Darin we know.

The conversation is getting sidetracked, Pickle needs someone who cares about her and that she cares about who is willing to apply the clue-by-four when and if needed, not just any old male capable of wielding said weapon.

Pickle would be positively clue-full by comparison, and she probably couldn't injure Thymbris permanently if she lost her temper. And, of course, there would be no question at all that Castela would be clobbered over the head by a clue-by-four occasionally. Or by a sheep, or a sink, or a toaster, or most of a wall, or ...
