Knowing Kakens are things that do in fact exist is an entirely different experience from seeing (and smelling) one in person.oldmanmickey wrote:Well Kevin does know who hes dating so i dont see it as a shock to him.
There is a difference between knowing something intellectually and actually understanding it. After this event Kevin will likely understand Bud a little more, but still not see the full implications of what she is.oldmanmickey wrote:Well Kevin does know who hes dating so i dont see it as a shock to him.
But will Keven realize just how vulnerable he is in the company of Bud?My2Cents wrote:There is a difference between knowing something intellectually and actually understanding it. Turned her to ice, actually. Euryale does ice. It's Medusa that does stone. (I don't know if we've been shown what their other sister turns people into.)FreeFlier wrote:That was when Eurale first met Monica, and turned her to stone in a startle reflex.
Given that it's Stheno, it's certainly something denser than Jell-O.Warrl wrote:(I don't know if we've been shown what their other sister turns people into.)
I think I saw a statement that she turns people into sand, but I don't know whether that was canon or just a supposition.AmriloJim wrote:Given that it's Stheno, it's certainly something denser than Jell-O.Warrl wrote:(I don't know if we've been shown what their other sister turns people into.)

At least she's not the Dark God Üweboll, whose touch turns all to poo...Dave wrote:I think I saw a statement that she turns people into sand, but I don't know whether that was canon or just a supposition.AmriloJim wrote:Given that it's Stheno, it's certainly something denser than Jell-O.Warrl wrote:(I don't know if we've been shown what their other sister turns people into.)
Kevin might ahve known about Stinky, and is shocked by: a) sudden appearance; b) size . . . ; c) stench.GlytchMeister wrote:Knowing Kakens are things that do in fact exist is an entirely different experience from seeing (and smelling) one in person.oldmanmickey wrote:Well Kevin does know who hes dating so i dont see it as a shock to him.
Though that is a convenient solution to an inconvenient magic talisman . . .AnotherFairportfan wrote:At least she's not the Dark God Üweboll, whose touch turns all to poo...
Well, when her Sister told the lil' Stinkwed that Stheno was 'made from dark, bitter coffee..' Lady S replied, 'No, I'm made of Turpentine...'. (I paraphrase, of course...)eee wrote: This being Stheno, corpses: She was an extremely lethal creature, according to Greek mythology.
If she's been saving up money since Lanthian days, she could indeed be powerfully solvent. She could probably provide solutions to many of life's annoyances that way.TazManiac wrote:Well, when her Sister told the lil' Stinkwed that Stheno was 'made from dark, bitter coffee..'
