Hope Kevin isn't too intimidated by Bud (without really considering it) showing just how strong she IS...

I only saw the first panel on my screen but when I saw that anchor I said STINKY!!!! heheee

DilyV, I had the same reaction. Bud + anchor -> Stinky. No two ways about it.

Well Kevin does know who hes dating so i dont see it as a shock to him.

Knowing Kakens are things that do in fact exist is an entirely different experience from seeing (and smelling) one in person.

Why would Bud have mentioned the whole "I blew up the sandbar" to Kevin?

There is a difference between knowing something intellectually and actually understanding it. After this event Kevin will likely understand Bud a little more, but still not see the full implications of what she is.

But will Keven realize just how vulnerable he is in the company of Bud?
Unless he is a Para and we haven't been told, he's a prime candidate for collateral damage if not a quick snack.

I wonder if we'll learn just when it was that Bud and Brandi (and Jin?) met Stinky.

Does he date back all the way to the years immediately after the Lanthian catastrophe (when some of the survivors from Lanthis were living in an under-sea habitat of some sort, if I remember correctly) or is he younger than that?

IIRC, Eurale made a remark to Monica about Lanthis "going underwater", but not quite the way the legends had it . . . there wasn't any more explanation.

If she's been saving up money since Lanthian days, she could indeed be powerfully solvent. She could probably provide solutions to many of life's annoyances that way.
