"Batman: The Killing Joke" - special theatrical pre-release

The day after it premieres at San Diego Comic Con and the day before it becomes available for download the (more-or-less) direct-to-video animated version of Batman: The Killing Joke will play one day in theatres, with lots of additional material.
The film is rated R - the first of the Warner DTV DCAU releases - which means it's probably fairly faithful to the graphic novel, but possibly not going into some of the between-the-lines implications ... since that might catch an NC-17...
