I have a side theory here, by the way - dad was already dead-and-gone by the time this happened.

Shortly after we met, i introduced my (then future) first wife to Lloyd Alexander's "Prydain" (or "Taran") books.

She plowed straight through all five - till she got within a couple chapters of the end of the fifth, The High King.

She said "Nope - i know where this is going," and put it down, right there.

Of course, in a few days, she came back...

This is the week for the Feel-on Torpedo battle. Roomie's crying in her beer, Dumbing of Age is putting up the suiside hotline, It's Walky reruns, er you just have to read it.

Yep. Right in the feels. Dreading friday...

It's almost amazing Atsali is still sane after all she's been through. Her ACE score is already through the roof.

I'm remembering another little girl of about Atsali's age. A little Markab girl, separated from her mother, in the isolation level of Babylon 5, as the Draffa plague burned its way through the lives of her people.

"Mama? Where's Mama?"

Faith manages. But, sometimes, it's not enough.

Hers wasn't a happy story, either... not at all.

Isn't that a bit of an unfair advantage? If Freeflier's thread actually came out one the comic posted, shouldn't his be the right thread? I mean, he fought for it, waiting patiently, and checking every so often, just to be able to proudly say "I saw it first!" ?

He even got the naming convention right (as opposed to having the wrong date on this thread...)
(OK, maybe not quite right... He didn't need to add the word 'May' to the end of it...)


I'm just curious as to the proper forum etiquette, in a case like this.
