Yes, yes, and yes. Non-cultivated sage is a much better smudge.

It occurs to me that you missed a GOLDEN opportunity there, Al.

I wrote this in the Holiday thread, then remembered you had created a thread for comments... I promptly copied my text, and deleted my post from there.

Ha! A well-loved children's book indeed! And one loved by many an adult, as well... By the time I started reading the second line, I knew exactly the quote.

The Magician's Nephew, by C.S. Lewis. When Polly and Digory went and visited the world of Charn, and made it to the room with all the statues, with the bell in the middle of the room, with a small hammer to strike it with. Said bell "awoke" the queen from her frozen slumber, and set the rest of the castle to start falling apart.

I am thoroughly enjoying this latest chapter in the saga of your characters. It is touching to see how well Al is loved, even if he didn't realize it completely. I hope his journey goes well.

Just a note to mention, for some reason, I fell off the FanFic wagon- likly due in part to limited access to Intenet these days (More of a catch as catch can vs a spend the time as needed type situation...)

So I haven't even read any, inc the epic I had started to contribute to, in quite some time.

Perhaps I'll be able to in the near...
