Nudge is definitely made of stern stuff. We haven't seen a character dent a wall that nicely since Bud thoomed Mayahuel into Jin's wall during the great clay makeover, and Nudge still has that pleased-as-Punch grin on her face.

That's strange. Usually people tell you to "turn that frown upside down". Phix turned Nudge's smile, and everything else, upside down.

Look. Modern art. Sheepish Nudge implanted in Wall. All they need is the discrete little light to make it easy to view.

That is not a pleased as punch grin on her face. that is a 'Oops, My new name is art' look. Really it's the grin to say only kidding when you are cornered after pushing something way to hard. Please don't hit me when I can't dodge.

Ah, Phix is saving face here. She knows Nudge was right, she's just annoyed at having her face rubbed in it. And Nudge knows that, hence the S**t Eating Grin. I wonder if Phix is going to revert to a more cosmopolitain air once she calms down, or if this new feral look is permanant. As a shapeshifter, I'm betting her form reflects her inner self quite a bit. Old Phix was more cultured and distant. This Phix is a little more raw and primal.

I think Nudge was successful in her quest to get Phix back in whatever world the Library is in. Phix is still angry but no longer in a world of her own.

Nudge is gonna have trouble removing her horns from the wall, looks like at least one of' 'em is cross-threaded; but since they both spiral outward, one will get free as the other chews deeper -

Or, she could ask Phix to pull her head out of her Library-

And hope Phix lets her finish the sentence.

Huh. Looks like those spines/spikes/ridges/whatever that were on Nudge's back are indeed for fighting in some way, since they're gone now. Interesting. I wonder what purpose they serve?

oh nudge you may be a friend top phix, but dont test her when she mad like that.. and nudge be fudged on the wall since she dented the wall in body outline tat may or may not be her new living area for the time being till phix can get her down

Phix has obviously calmed down a lot.

After all, she put Bia THROUGH the wall.
