I had a friend (she finally managed to kill herself a few years back), of whom i am sometimes painfully reminded by Hannelore in Questionable Content.
More than once i found myself wishing that Kim had not so much an on/off switch as a volume knob.
One Sunday morning of a Nashville SF convention, my girlfriend and i had brought her along with us to McDonalds to hunt the wild McMuffin. The place was semi-full of Southern Baptists in their church clothes.
And Kim began talking about her abortion.
