The story you have seen is true- the names have been changed because they do over time.

The more things change, the more things stay the same. True fact.

I wonder why Devyn put her hair up just to brush her teeth? It doesn't look long enough to be a nuisance.

I like Devyn... but I feel a little sad about her feeling so lonely...

What movie would a teen enjoy and recommend to her parents?

EspeciallyThat teen and Those parents.

How does being That teen and Those parents effect what movies they like?

I'm guessing to keep it out of her face while she washes up before bed. As someone formerly and once again with long hair I can say it doesn't always cooperate and stay neatly tucked behind the ears.

Devyn sounds like a person who is almost, but not quite, clinically depressed. :( This seems to be a common affliction for teens these days.

I was thinking more of a song than a movie - "Blue Money" or "Going Down for the Last Time'

Considering that Devyn is a Helead, this one seems a possibility.

How about this?

or, possibly this one. And, for once, y'all get to blame someone else for a horrendous pun!

She might get a kick out of recommending pretty much anything she's sure Mom won't like.

Nah, it needs to be something she can deliberately misrepresent to sound like something her mom would like

Example: Mom likes old cliche horror movies? "This young couple have car trouble and go to a creepy-looking mansion, and a bunch of weird stuff happens, and there's a creepy old guy in a wheelchair, and at the end of it they are in a bunch of rubble where the house used to be" -
Rocky Horror Picture Show
