Despite my best friend being a total gun nut, I don't recall the armpit as being a typical place for ammo storage.

I was led to believe that was fairly common for surreptitious magazine storage...and better than where she kept the storage crystal...

It's also a PitA to tailor for. I remember my Mother agonising over measurements and making padded liners for bodyguards to hide them so they didn't look like bodyguards. She said those were the worst ones to fit for. Add additional requirements for skinny, tall, ma & and h2h combat movement, and you've got me doing paperwork all day, and catering, coffee and cig runs, and fittings for other customers.
