The Historic Abbott Apartments are located at 110 East 18th Street, at the corner of East 18th and Stevens Avenue South - a location very familiar to Wapsi Square fans.

I wonder if this is why the new "portal" is located in a back alley by the Lund's Grocery in uptown Minneapolis...

OMG, look at those prices. (I'm out here in the Silicon Valley/San Francisco Bay Area...)

For those prices you get a walk in closet, (and in SF proper you likely have to hot bunk at that...)

That said, I really like most old construction and prefer it be rehabilitated rather than torn down.

That may be cheaper than Silicon Valley/San Fransisco Bay, but it's more expensive than Montréal... (though not by a whole lot, only a few hundred dollars...)

The apartment plans they talk about seem to stop at 2 bedrooms. From what we have seen, Katherine and Atsali and Castela each have their own bedroom. So, I would say they probably don't live there, unless they managed to get a "builder's special" or two combined apartments.

I guess I understand Paul's sadness. It isn't everywhere you can find such a lovely, gloomy, debris-filled abandoned building into which to place an interdimensional annex/portal.

I do agree that having the existing historic building refurbished and repurposed as apartments, is superior to having it razed to the ground and turned into an equal-sized array of little boxes made out of ticky-tacky that all look just the same.

Sure, the apartments are all only two-bedrooms. . .and the annex was only an abandoned building with a footprint of a few thousand square feet, and Bud could obviously not fit anything larger than a football into her slim little torso.

Besides, just imagine Atsali's reaction to learning that she gets to live directly above the repository of all books ever written.

Kath's complex is likely somewhere else in the Uptown area, as is Bud & Brandi's duplex, Monica's place, and Shelly's apartment.

We know Jin lives downtown in a penthouse complex.

Well there is a county in Florida called Gilchrist. Katherine and Family can always move there and lord over it having her family name.
