Sounds like Louisiana, with the caveat the weather is a different kind of crappy.

Our named storms are wimpy compared to the named storms that hit down there. We just have to shovel our driveways and drive slower. They (you?) have to downright leave, sink, or swim.

They. I live in North Georgia.

Where the occasional Serious Ice Storm - like the one we had this February - wreaks havoc. We were without power for almost three days.

I much enjoyed traveling through Texas, but haven't been there in 20 years. Rumor is that it has not improved at all since then.

Here in Pennsylbama, we have plenty of corruption and potholes, but at least in my city it's easy to walk to things (3 microbrewery taprooms within 2 miles).

Nyrrrg... That's like people insisting on pronouncing my state "Ill-a-noise" instead of "Ill-a-noy."

(I even forgive the more French "Ill-ah-nwah" pronunciation if the mistaken person has a European accent.)

Depending on what the state legislature is up to, it's either ill-a-noise or ill-annoy. Except sometimes it's both.

Not because of you, but because some fool would try that.
Yanno how some people have Angels/Devils for a conscience? I have a Dark Elf ShadowKnight and a Half Elf Ranger for mine. The really bad part is when they agree on something.

True, but a polished slab of marble makes a more satisfying *crunch!* without the gore.
