Bud is quite a divine young mammal. (or she was until she was golemized)

What's the word for mis-heard lyrics? I used to have a book on it called Excuse Me While I kiss This Guy but it got misplaced in a move and i never saw it again. Anyway it had the word for the phenomena in the secondary title...

It's quite appropriate... a paranormal with Bud's earth-shattering power, setting herself up for a truly earth-shattering hangover. I wonder if she's in for another object lesson by Brandi, involving curtains and a sunny day.

Of course, Bud's belch could be an indication of more severe problems than mere drunkenness. Her golem digestive system (such as it is) may be malfunctioning due to contact with alcohol. "The girl with colitis goes by..."

Try "Mondegreen", which itself comes from a misheard lyric. Another book to look up is titled, "He's Got The Whole World In His Pants" which I need to buy next time I run across it.

Don't know if it is true but I've read that sometimes Jimmy Hendrix sang it that way on purpose as a joke.

Nahh, that was the Carl P. Mayfield parody "Woody Hays".

Wikipedia wrote:The top three mondegreens submitted regularly to mondegreen expert Jon Carroll are:[1]
1. "Gladly, the cross-eyed bear[3] (from the line in the hymn "Keep Thou My Way" by Fanny Crosby and Theodore E. Perkins, "Kept by Thy tender care, gladly the cross I'll bear")[15] Carroll and many others quote it as "Gladly the cross I'd bear."
2. There's a bathroom on the right (the line at the end of each verse of "Bad Moon Rising" by Creedence Clearwater Revival: "There's a bad moon on the rise")
3. 'Scuse me while I kiss this guy (from a lyric in the song "Purple Haze," by The Jimi Hendrix Experience: "'Scuse me while I kiss the sky").
Both Creedence's John Fogerty and Hendrix eventually acknowledged these mishearings by deliberately singing the "mondegreen" versions of their songs in concert.[16][17][18]

I knew I didn't imagine reading it. From Wikipedia:
A lyric known to have been misheard in the song is "excuse me while I kiss this guy". The actual line is "excuse me while I kiss the sky". In fact, it has been documented that Hendrix himself perpetuated this mondegreen as a joke while singing "Purple Haze" live in concert,[13] particularly at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967. In Cheech & Chong's film Nice Dreams, the line is parodied as "excuse me while I kiss this fly".

Ray Davies at least once* sang the line "He messed up his life when he beat up his wife" in the Kinks song "Alcohol" as "He beat up his life when he messed up his wife"...

============

On the "Live" half of the album Everybody's in Showbiz...

Spoonerisms? Or maybe malapropisms?

Do you gaze at your bald head
And wish you had hair

(I hear Elvis on the radio only. It seems like that track accounts for every other play.)

Hey, do you think that BRAP! is related to a certain name dropping?

 Yes and it makes me think that her lyrics are directed at getting Tina on the right track.
