Not realistic. Iron Maiden never played bouncy music!

So... is "Iron Maiden" a declaration of fandom concerning a certain heavy-metal band, or a complaint about the characteristics of her new-and-current bra? :?:

I am getting the feeling that Miss Gilchrist is a fan of Metal bands.

And I'm not talking about the underwire of her bras. (Ba-dum-tish)

With a tasty chaser of Baba O'Riley as a young Siren's song... "♫ it's only teen-age wasteland! ♫"

I picture Kath just in the other room, dancing right along - just too embarrassed to dance in front of the kids....

*edit* And Castela is rockin' the guitar walk!

I think they are most likely listening to either "Flight of Icarus" (because --wings--duh) or "Running Fee"(because 16 and . . sirens wail. . .)

But for all I know it's just the T-shirt. . .

but if they really want to ROCK, they need to go visit Auntie Monica, the audiophile . . .just sayin 8-)

I see her leaning against the door frame, arms crossed under her breasts with a big lop-sided grin as she watches the kids rock out to mom's 'oldies'.
(little hearts floating around her head optional)

When seen from the front it reads:
"ON MAID"

Like that joke about why boys were watching The Mickey Mouse Club back in the day. They were noticing the "A" and "E" on Annette's sweater getting farther and farther apart as the years went on.

The way I heard it was the progression of the single line of text on the young lady's shirt went:

Year One: "ANNETTE"
Year Two: "ANNETTE FUNICELLO"
Year Three: "ANNETTE FUNICELLO - MICKEY MOUSE CLUB"

But then, I'm quite a bit older than you, son. We took longer to tell jokes. :D

My Pop was one of the original TV Generation, so he had a thing for Ms. Funicello. In my later years, I realized he had a good eye for TV babes.

He also used to watch Pee Wee's Playhouse with me and my brother, and tell us what was from what kid's show he watched as a child. "That's from Soupy Sales, that one used to be done on Pinky Lee. That joke came from Howdy Doody!"

The appeal of PeeWee's Playhouse to the college crowd made a lot more sense after watching a documentary showing how the show was literally made by a group of stoner hippies.

Considering the most recent story arc, Atsali's 'Heavy Metal' and 'Iron Maiden' shirts and now 'Air Guitar', what tune might Pickle and she be rocking out with?

As to where Kath is, she's the one who took the picture.

I kind of envision it as Van Halen's "Jump", given how bouncy Castela always seems to be.

Probably something by Wyld Stallyns, though.
