500,000+ Legos, a teenaged Romanian genius, and a man from Melbourne, AU (yeah, those wacky Aussies)....
Four rotary compressed-air engines (ALSO made from Legos) - well, go look - the only things that aren't Legos are the tires, air tank, guages and hoses.......http://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoramic/ ... 11398.html

If you watch the video, it kinda - snap, crackle, pops - while its running, but that's just the Legos talkin' - but what hot rod doesn't make some noise?

Not exactly a speedster, is it? I made an air-powered car years ago (totally different system, and no popular toy franchises were involved), and I think it had a top speed of almost half my walking speed. Though I suppose that if you're just up to the traditional hot-rod activity of going cruising down the strip to impress the girls, moving at 3 kph gives them plenty of time to admire your Lego skills.
I'm curious to see how they made the axles so that they'd support the weight and turn properly without deforming all to pieces.

Yeah, I can't think of how they could do it without a 'real' chassis.Catawampus wrote:I'm curious to see how they made the axles so that they'd support the weight and turn properly without deforming all to pieces.
