Well what do you know, the girls are cool shape shifters after all.

ooh... cringe... evil thought... the instant I read that strip I thought that somebody (hint hint) has to re-script this one wherein panel 3 Atsali has to be saying "vast tracts of land!"... the way her hands are drawn just screams out for it!...

and I'm glad I lost my M.P.'S over this, the two new girls seem to be pretty cool (so far) and I hope that Atsali gets to hang out with them more often, as friends closer to her age, than always being alone with Pickles... she IS a teenager after all and sooner or later she's gonna resent her being "stuck with" Castela when all the "other" girls get to do fun stuff without the young ones underfoot...

They can inflate body parts? Looks like the girls know just a little black magic.

I'm getting the impression yesterday's rather large breasted imagery was poor little Atsali's mind working overtime... Imagining that's what those two looked like... today we see the reality. Bearly have anything up there, do they? LOL

A closer looks makes me learn more toward ursine back ground for these two. Are they were or something else?

I'm not surprised the Twins were finding comedic material in some of their peers as school. Having gone through a few schools myself, and some were for the gifted types, I can say that even at the specialized institutions of learning, cliques will happen, and everyone will end up sorted by anything that can be categorized. If you can't find some standard humor in some of it, that's when you worry. I'm beginning to like those two, and not just because as 1/4 Kiowa, I actually can claim kinship with bears, as once, a very long time ago, half of our tribe were turned into bears permanently. Or so our stories go. These sisters are smart, and seem to have common sense. They might even have a few shape-shifting tips for Castela.

Nice to know those girls aren't stuck-up bitchy. They're just judgy-catty about stuck-up bitchy girls (which I tend to be as well, so I think I'll like these two).

Nah...I got the impression that yesterday's view of the girls was the result of their shape-changing skills. I don't think they'd be blushing so much at Atsali's question about "what happened to their tight shirts" she'd just imagined all of that.

Are we sure the Twins are from Minnesota? Maybe they're from Chicago since they seem to be Cubs. From their blushing, I'm thinking they're Reds fans too...
