Squirrel cook-off in Ar-Kansas!
Brandon Estes (This and last years winner) wrote:"I don't think people like eating food that looks like rat," he says, admitting he himself is no fan of eating squirrel.
The whole Wall Street Journal
article.

With the number of animals probably necessary to make for a good meal I hope they are putting all the pelts to good use. Can you imagine the winner walking out pimp style with a squirrel fur coat?

That one almost looks as if the "patchwork" is simulated... just printed on. Several of the larger patch appear to be intended to look contiguous
across the zipper line... as if the jacket were sewn together whole on a human torso form, and then slit down the center for the zipper. Yes, it's a bit on the odd side.

Quick, someone call the
fashion police. There's been a murder
of good taste.

Looks like Buffalo Bill finally gave up on his vest with "ta-tas" on it.

I have a chocolate brown suede one, and changed up the collar, and brushed the suede out to make it a softer look.
Done right, they're a nice use of remnants. I've made Teddy Bear jackets out of leather remnants(after making journeyman's boots). I hate wasting good materials.
The problem with all of those jackets is that they used the glovey side of the remnants. Using the sueded side makes for a softer, less
creepy look. The other issue was with the rainbow one. Use colours that complement, not clash.
Sorry, Mother is a tailor, so I hear these complaints frequently.
Just my 2cp.
