So i read the webcomic Namesake - a comic that postulates that the great stories are true somewhere, and that there are Namesakes of the main characters who basically guard the universes. And that there are Writers who, even if they don't know it, can control the universe by the stories they create.

One of the most powerful Namesakes is Alice.

The current storyline is taking us back to her childhood ... and, well - i posted this over at the Misfile forums:
Sometimes i react to comic characters as if they were real people.

I have never so much wanted to reach into the comic and kill a character - and one who doesn't actually appear in the strip, at that. - as i would like to do to Alice's mother right now.

"I'm sorry!"

"I'm sorry!"

"I'm sorry!"

"Please don't hit me, I'll clean it up!"

=================

...and then she reveals the even worse thing than that that her mother did to her...
And it's even worse than what Castela's parents did to her...

...and i'm sitting here with tears on my cheeks...

Yes, it's a very thought provoking webcomic. I let it ride for about a month at a time and then go a read the block of story that's accumulated. Otherwise things get too fractured fr me. Much like I'd do for Wapsie if it wasn't so regular on its updates.

Now we have to see if the Cheer girls wind up as Bay's bridesmaids.
