I don't think anyone has yet pointed out that Nudge may neither be flying nor falling, but hanging onto the rock below Phix... We already know she's a pretty good, if inelegant, climber and doesn't have too much fear of heights...

heights.

Uhm, wow, just looking at all those strips around that "Nudge comes in and the fight begins" arc, Shelly's Sphinxy ways are all too obvious in retrospect.

Oh, she does have a fear of
heights.
No, she has a fear of falling from 13,000 feet.
The one is a phobia with, perhaps, no real basis.
The other is perfectly justified.

surprise makes me think that it wasn't pre-planned...
i don't see that as a problem, it could be a different window that looks out over the same general area further up that passageway with the stained glass one being at the end. in fact, this may sound loopy, but i think that the "half-pipe" we saw, was those two running UP THE WALL of the ROUND TOWER as shown from the outside view. and what seemed to be debris /books on the "floor" was actually parts of the stone wall sticking inward towards the center of the tower. and what looked to be a wall behind Phix, was indeed the FLOOR of the Tower seen from rather far away, easy to mistake flooring tiles for wall blocks... the only real hiccup i can see with that isn't so much them running up the wall itself, i mean take a look at those people that do "parkour". no, the problem lies with the angle of Nudge looking at the window getting closer and her looking over her shoulder yelling at Phix, then it looks like she jumped to clear the window sill... implying that the window was NOT "in the floor" as they were running up the WALL... other than that, cool theory, huh?
**edit** and combined with TOMORROW'S Page, them running up a WALL is much more possible than if the Library was NOT where/how it is...
The preplanning part for the WHOLE THING i can mostly agree with, either she's a very good poker-face actor when she looked "surprised" at the carnage, or possibly that was Tsillah already and SHE was the one surprised for a moment and it took a few seconds to come back in sync with the plan, OR she didn't preplan and then that would throw my Tsillah prediction out the window... oh well, ce' la vie'... but, to get back to the actual post, when i said she was planning on that window, i meant that during the run thru the Library, she came up with it and purposely went to that one in order to get both Shelly and Phix placed in the same area and both focused on "rescuing" her, each forgetting their individual mopey thoughts... Tricksters are usually fast-on-their-feet thinkers, and that run was long enough to come up with it.

nope, no problem with heights, or falling... the main problem is, if there is something very HARD rushing toward you!! That's gonna hurt!!

It has been delayed somewhat due to the impressive manner in which the Boys won on Wednesday. There's a sign that the Mayans were right - starting the football season on a WEDNESDAY???

It
is pretty weird...but I was thinking that I'll know that the Mayans were right if we've got a shot at the Super Bowl when mid-to-late December rolls around.
