I'm a candle fiend. Ditto my baby sister. My sister and I once took turns rotating the candles and kept a single room in the house seventy degrees for the entire week we were without power, and unable to open any outside doors to shovel our way out...
You just want to make sure that you don't go and asphyxiate yourself doing that sort of thing.
Hence why we worked in shifts...open the doors every twenty minutes, every hour we opened the door from house to garage, rotate candles so they did not overheat and soot...kept it up for a week with our system, no issues.
