I had a scribd account(before they started charging stupid outrageous fees), and it apparently is not good enough to see it. Not paying to see content a member should be able to see.

At my college, if your instructor held a doctorate degree, you referred to them as "doctor" unless they specifically requested you not to. This was usually reduced to "doc" by all students in their classes, divisions, or who didn't feel the need to suck up. But it was still school tradition and was followed by even the most unformal students.

So when referring to Dr. Gilchrist, it just seems natural to use her honorific.

And what the heck is a scribed account? Something to do with a subscription service?

Scribd is a website that attempts to allow you to publish things for others to read - but it's been unsustainable because people have been trying to go the free route since it opened. Thus, they have started an annoying trend to charge people to be able to view the complete documents of others - even if said document was placed on Scribd free of charge, and without any restrictions (originally) on fees per view.

In short, it's gone from great to annoyance.

Probably greatly. Due to time constraints, I haven't been able to update anything on the wiki.

In light of our two new characters (and after some add-ons from our previous arc), I give you the updated Cast List via Google Docs:

And, now that I have completed it, we now have - The Storyline Arc Guide! Tired of trying to figure out when something happened in Wapsiland? Here you go - a shorthand (well, as short as 51 pages in PDF can be) version of everything that's happened, in rough chronological order!

And, with that, I also updated the Cast of Characters list - including our two mermaid teens, and the two teachers of the Gilchrist Girls!

Damn, Wdot, I've only begun to read this and I'm amazed at the legwork you put into it. What's your next project? A quick recap of each individual strip?

Oh, I tried strip-by-strip summaries at one point - but do you realize how many strips Pablo has churned out since 2001?

Minor nit to pick, cast of characters entry, U-boat captain, should be "potato-masher grenade" (nick-named for its shape) rather than "potato grenade". Not demeaning your impressive work, sometimes I just notice things. And not to be confused with a potato launcher, works with tennis balls too... bwah, hah haaah...

'Twill be noted in the next update.

Just a thought: it would be interesting to add the dates when each character was first seen (or mentioned for those that are never seen) in the strip. Of course this would require another complete archive trawl...
