Head up towards New Braunfelds and scout around for German delis and bakeries. Westphalia, Zobzikville, Lott, all of those little German colonies have great beer, great meats, and great bakeries, - often all-in-one. (Went to college in Belton and College Station).

Actually, we won't know that until Dec. 22. They assume they fixed the problem by getting rid of the Calendar Machine...

We don't know if this is the cycle where they've already fixed it -- with some of the characters traveling backward in time, this might have been published in one of the pre-repair cycles.

If so, I hope "Wapsi Squre" is also published in the final cycle (the one everone gets to remember).

This is true. We won't know for sure if this really IS the last cycle until after Dec. the 22nd has past in Wapsi-world. Paul could have one heck of a reboot to the story and it's characters coming if something was missed by the gang and the reset still happens again. What an opportunity to totally "re-imagine" the whole thing. I guess even Phix wouldn't know if another cycle reset is coming.

Seems unlikely though, since the Time Tree Forest's overall time cycle ended in this time period, which would indicate the cycles were truly over. Yet, I can't help but wonder if Paul has something for us on Dec. 22 which will make all the other breakneck shifts in story direction look like a gentle curve at walking speed.[/quote]

 Are you suggesting that we all need to wear our cervical collars before opening this site after mid-December? 8-)

Based on what we've seen that Paul is capable of, I might suggest a full-body cast, and a Saturn V high-G acceleration couch for each reader ;)

I've mentioned before, what if the Calendar Machine® was trying to keep something bad from happening in it's own unscrutable way? What if there something really bad gonna happen after Dec.21?

That would have been quite a ... noticable explosion to remove an island to a depth of 1400 meters. I notice that the 'image' looks a little bit like the deck view of an aircraft carrier (but way too big) - even seems to be casting a 'shadow' on the seafloor to the east.

Well, in that outfit, and with that hair, she reminds me of Desiree Cousteau.

But i have no idea what ethnicity she was, so...

I was thinking a nice, freckly Berber type! Bud is (east?) Mediterranean, so why not a western Med peep in the mix?

It loaded very slowly from the top and paused at the nose for a while, and I thought --- Tootsie?

And, it being the holidays, it would be followed by 2 weeks of guest art and pinups designed to totally drive us over the edge on speculation. As the Klingons are fond of saying "It would be glorious!"
