Da Chief's stubble seems a little heavier than the previous strip. Are we sure he is human? Maybe a werewolf?

Actually, "mad cow" disease is a condition that was first observed in cannibalistic human societies.

Only if they eat the spinal cord/brain tissue - in which case, we're dealing with Zombie cows already; 'mad' is now just an adjective, as in "mad zombie cow". Run away, please..... :twisted:
