Currently posting from the Buck that is Star-like, and I just so happened to run across this:
http://www.jtomatoes.com/splitpea.htm
Never been there, never heard of it until today, sounds like a cool name for a band though...

I usually don't care for luxury and overly luxurious places... Give me a cabin in the woods, and I'll be perfectly happy...
Having said that, I have to admit that I was thoroughly impressed by the woodcarvings in that room.

As a young child my Mom was on the board of State Parks & Recreation. For some reason, either due to the State land down near the ocean, or maybe the care takers were investigating parkhood for Hearst Castle (I was a kid, I ferget...) we were given a tour of the grounds.
It's a strange-ass place, and that room has a 'presence'...

You got it all wrong! It's supposed to be like this:
CRASH! POW! ZAP! WHREEEE! ding
Hoorray!
I meant to do that!

Hmmm, now where should we travel?
I know! But we'll need one of these to get there...

We're going back to the end of the 19th Century, to the
Sutro Baths!
