Katherine's age is whatever-year-it-is-in-Wapsi-time minus 1970.

So if it's 2015 there, she's 45.

For those not tracking in on why i say that - she was found as a baby in Mapimí by the Air Force personnel sent in to clean up the mess after the incident with the missile that went off-course.

Oh, so you're acquainted with the clue bat then? ;)

Like I said, we're past 2012, in-comic, but we don't know exactly how far past it... So she's at least 42, but no more than 45...

Was it merely a vehicle to bring out Nadette's feelings about Atsali? Just seems like that arc went nowhere. We're back to Atsali's body image (again). Maybe I'm missing something here or there will be a tie-in eventually.
1. Further establishes that Sali is going to be prone to jumping without looking for a long time. She seems like a slow learner.
2. Resolves the mini-arc of Nadette deciding to make a play for Sali after getting her set up with Jason.
3. Introduces information that not all the Ethetians were totally insane.
4. Removes all traces of the archives under Mapimi.
5. Gives us something to talk about.
I've highlighted the relevant sections. Though I still have an inkling to agree with Knight: Not as many loose ends were tied up as one might think. There's still the questions of exactly what the signal from the Not-so-Silent Zone was, and of how/why it appeared. Also, the matter of potential familial strife between Tsillah and Thymbris, but that can be resolved at Paul's leisure.

When what flies?

...well, OK. I concede the point, but shall not give up hope. Must be the coffee talking. ;)

And, some new ones introduced. At least one portion of the Library portal system has gone BOOM, complete with high-velocity flying sheepnel.

We know that the Library is self-repairing, but we don't know for certain what effect the destruction-and-repair will have on the portal(s). There's not necessarily any guarantee that the portal behind Chino Latino is still working, or (if it needs repair) whether it will be re-established in the same place.

For all we know, the portal may shift positions... coming out hundreds of feet in the air between two skyscrapers, or down in the center of an actively-in-use Metro tunnel, or something like that.

One of my exes was subtle. She just opened a bottle of whiskey and took off her shirt.

I picked right up on that.
