Speaking of shadows, I find it interesting to see just how connected Tsillah is to her shadow: step on my foot, and I'll feel it; step on my shadow, and I won't even know... Not so with Tsillah. She apparently has a very direct connection with her shadow: the closed left eye and the star next to the head seem to indicate, to me, that she really felt that blow.
I thought Tsillah _was_ Shadow, with the body merely a construct for dealing with the protoplasmic. ("
Stevens Door" is the reference I'm thinking of, along with the comments on the previous couple of entries.)
Yes, Tsillah
is shadow. A being made of shadow. But just like looking at a negative image,
her "shadow" looks (and feels) like a real person... And, negative image correlation notwithstanding, she still has a very real connection to her shadow, unlike us (or me, at the very least... can't really say about anyone else...

Nah, no joke here.

hmmm .... Isn't Tsillah also a shapshifter of sorts? I can't remember just how well she can 'shift.
But .... I wonder?
What kind of storyline would be needed to Nadette and Tsillah to 'morph' into Atsali clones and require someone to play "
guess which one is the real siren?"

What shape is a shadow?
OF COURSE she's a shapeshifter. An extremely good one.

It would undoubtedly involve a boy about Nadette/Atsali's age.

And Berdine, and Nudge for that matter. "Round up the Usual Suspects!..."

Wouldn't that be...
"Round up the
Ursa Suspects?"

That may depend largely on the exact mushrooms used.

Hah, recent talks of 'Star Wars' had me, just now, in a conversation where the other party mentioned having consumed some prior to the original being, seen all last Century, for the first time.
(Hmm, my recent flights of prose seem to indicate I am
already in Confusion Corner.... [nice Pirogi Sarge])
