I'd think that if Monica was going to take Jet up on her offer, Bud would be the first one - with HORNS ON - to get in her way.

I kinda got that vibe that this wasn't Jet at first... but then dismissed it because of the amount of alcohol involved and attributed Jet's remarks about Kevin to being similar to one of Tina's "readings". Whatever it is, something strange is going on here. Or is it? There was a lot left unsaid in the Monica/Jet arc...

It occurred to me while driving the bus, yesterday (yes, I sometimes think of Wapsi Square while working), that Monica's blush might be a result of her not being in control:
we know she can feel people's fears (e.g. Nudge and the volcano), as well as people's desires (Georgette and the "kiss" at Mucho Mocha). It is conceivable that each time she is near Georgette, she is feeling that desire towards her (whether it's actually Georgette's or her inner demons', as was hinted strongly a few days after this comic). Monica is used to being in charge of any emotional relationship she is in (probably has been doing so ever since she got out of the hospital, after the rapes). So while she can feel Kevin's affection and desire for her, she is in control of the relationship. On the other hand, she can feel the desire emanating from Georgette, but is nowhere near in control of that relationship, and does not know how to react, hence the blushing.
